Natural Dog Treats - Our Unique Superfood Formulation

Air-Drying Technique

All our natural dog treats are made in Ireland by a Master Butcher in small handmade batches using purpose built production equipment designed to preserve treats naturally. This process locks in the delicious flavours that dogs love to sniff as they are being given their treat and helps us to maintain our commitment to no artificial colours, preservatives or glycerin.

Irish Grass-fed beef

We use locally sourced fresh grass-fed Irish beef complying with Department of Agriculture Food and Marine standards. Our healthy dog treats begin with fresh meat including organ and liver that are rich in amino acids, mineral and vitamins. Beef is a great source of protein, a critical component in a dog's diet that needs to be replaced on a daily basis because unlike fat protein is not stored in the body. Speaking of fats, fats from grass-fed animals are also healthy anti-inflammatory fats containing approximately two to three times the amount of linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, compared to non-grass-fed animals.

Organic Irish Seaweeds

Seaweeds have gained and continue to gain widespread approval across nutritional health and medicine and are seen as a superfood. Our healthy dog snacks are supercharged with handharvested mineral rich seaweed from the Wild Atlantic Waters. As seaweeds remove and concentrate nutrients directly from the ocean they are a potential storehouse of minerals, micronutrients and vitamins. These sea vegetables are an excellent source of iodine, vitamin C, manganese and vitamin B2. They are also a very good source of Vitamin A, copper as well as a good source of protein, pantothenic acid, potassium, iron, zinc, vitamin B6, niacin, phosphorus, and vitamin B1. Seaweed benefits health to the dog’s whole body through the digestive system, in the form of prebiotics feeding beneficial gut bacteria. The list of benefits go on to include improving coat and skin condition, digestion and dental health, and more recently compounds have been isolated from red seaweeds that show heart health promise.

We source all but one of our seaweeds from the Connemara Seaweed Company who possess with a wealth of experience, dedication and knowledge.
